As a research and administrative lawyer, one of my areas of focus is legal research. I believe that a strong legal case is built on a solid foundation of research. My goal is to ensure that I provide the lawyers at Spectrum HR Law with up-to-date and thorough case law and legislation, in order to assist them with putting together the strongest case possible for their clients.
My other area of focus at Spectrum is coordinating client communications. At Spectrum, we believe that it is important that our clients are informed of the latest developments concerning HR legal issues. I ensure that our e-bulletins, newsletters and seminars are produced in a timely manner, and that they provide clients with the most current information on the various aspects of HR law.
Prior to joining Spectrum HR Law, I gained considerable experience in legal research as an assistant on a NAFTA bi-national panel, and as a research lawyer with a leading Maritime law firm. I also had my own law practice in Calgary for four years. My experience has provided me with valuable insight as to the research needs of lawyers, as well as to the needs of clients to be kept apprised of key developments that affect them.
